Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • On-the-job training with existing operations director.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems.
  • Technical skills to use tools and equipment to analyze a system or component.
  • Effective communication skills to ensure good customer experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A with tanker, airbrakes, and hazmat endorsements), or ability to acquire.
  • Company approved driving record.
  • Obtain various certifications related to energy products.
  • Acquire and maintain certificates/licenses to handle and deliver propane and refined fuels.

Essential Functions:
  • Responsible for deliveries and handling for various energy products.
  • Will perform operations for various locations and departments within the company.
  • Complete tank wagon deliveries as needed for refined fuels and propane.
  • Ability to manage customer related issues.
  • Coordinate and communicate with sales personnel to complete customers deliveries and department operations efficiently, and on time.
  • Administers and controls credit within the associations established credit policy.
  • Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Cooperative and a favorable image of the Cooperative.
  • Responsible for maintaining clean facilities and complying with all state and federal regulations pertaining to a safe workplace, housekeeping, and all activities that require regulation compliance.
  • Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; respond promptly to customer needs, resolve questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meet commitments.
  • Support operations for various locations and departments within the company.
  • Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.
  • Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Presents a clean and professional appearance.
  • Employees are required to perform all other duties as directed by the supervisor.
