Country Partners Cooperative Announces Kevin Kalsbeck as New VP of Energy

GOTHENBURG, NEBRASKA (Mar 24, 2023) – Country Partners Cooperative is delighted to welcome Kevin Kalsbeck as its new VP of Energy. Kevin officially started in his new role on March 20th, bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise gained from 28 years of working in the cooperative system.

Throughout his career, Kevin has held various positions within the energy sector, both at local and regional cooperatives. His most recent role was as the South Region Sales Director at CHS, where he spent the last decade. Kevin’s deep understanding of the cooperative industry and his passion for its success make him an excellent addition to the Country Partners team.

Growing up on a crop and livestock farm in eastern South Dakota, Kevin has a personal connection to the cooperative system’s values and principles. He and his wife Jaci have been living in Kearney since 2000, where they raised their two daughters, Maci and Molli.

Rod Schaeffer retired from the board and was the only incumbent who did not seek re-election.

The Nebraska Cooperative Council Education Foundation (NCCEF) will provide 9 scholarships totaling $20,100 for the 2023/24 academic year to students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) College of Agriculture (NCTA) at Curtis, and the University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK).
